NoviThea is a research, innovation and technology organisation. We research global challenges, test what works in practice, and build what the evidence supports.
Why NoviThea exists
The world’s biggest challenges cannot be solved only by yesterday’s thinking.
Climate risk, insecurity, technology, inequality and other challenges rarely exist in isolation. They overlap, reinforce one another and shape the same people, communities and institutions at the same time. NoviThea exists to understand those connections, question what is taken for granted, and test what can be done differently.

Research does not always end with a report. Sometimes what is learned needs to take a form that people can keep using. NoviThea develops digital, physical, educational and hybrid products when that is the form the evidence and the challenge call for.

Research meets the conditions it has to work in.
Some questions can be answered through research and analysis. Others cannot be settled until an idea encounters the people, institutions, constraints and everyday conditions it is supposed to work with. Sometimes the evidence strengthens an idea. Sometimes it changes it. Sometimes it tells us to stop.
